Day 02

The day in Istanbul will begin with a fascinating immersion into the city’s rich history, visiting some of its most emblematic sites. The first stop will be the Hippodrome, which in its time was the sports and social center of the Byzantine Empire, where monuments such as the Obelisk of Theodosius and the Serpent Column can still be admired.

Next, you will visit the majestic Topkapi Palace, which was the residence of the Ottoman sultans for more than 400 years. This impressive complex offers spectacular views of the Bosphorus and a rich collection of historical artifacts, including treasures of the Ottoman Empire.

The tour will continue at the Grand Bazaar, one of the oldest and largest markets in the world, where visitors can get lost among its more than 4,000 shops filled with jewelry, carpets, spices, and handicrafts.

Later, you will discover the magnificent Hagia Sophia, an architectural marvel that has been a church, mosque, and is now a museum, famous for its monumental dome and Byzantine mosaics.
